Joseph Amato has over thirty years experience as a business development consultant and a leading voice for business ownership and entrepreneurship within the business and commercial lending industry.
He is originally from the greater New York area and had spent the better part of two decades in the Washington D.C area primarily serving the Mid-Atlantic region as a business development consultant, direct lender and Chief Executive Officer for a major business-consulting firm.
For the last two years Mr. Amato served as District Director for the Small Business Administration in State of Nevada, assisted the Regional Administrator and Associated Administrator with the implementation of Covid-19 stimulus policies and programs supporting businesses and lenders throughout the country. His impact on the business and lending community was critically important in the past several years especially due to the injurious effects of COVID-19 whereby the very survival of nearly every business was tied to the funding and operational support through the SBA/Covid stimulus programs.
His vast experience in corporate restructuring, business finance and project management providing budget accounting, forensic audit, data and financial management services for a broad range of reputable companies, academic institutions and various government agencies is only a portion of his extensive business background. He has distinct knowledge of all SBA/USDA lending and other SBA/USDA support programs.
